His path to dentistry was fueled by his passion for hands-on work and his interest in medicine. He has always enjoyed building things and working directly with his hands, and dentistry provided a perfect blend of these interests. He loves that his career allows him to make a positive impact on his patients’ lives.

Dr. Modarres earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the prestigious New York University School of Dentistry. Since then, he has attended numerous continuing education courses in areas like dental implant placement and restoration, occlusion treatment, and dental sleep medicine. His commitment to professional development is further reflected in his active memberships with organizations like the American Dental Association, Maryland State Dental Association, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, Academy of General Dentistry, American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine, and the Seattle Study Club.

Outside of the office, Dr. Modarres values quality time with his family. He and his wife enjoy raising their two sons, exploring new places, and staying active together through biking adventures. In his personal time, Dr. Modarres enjoys swimming and playing the setar, a traditional Persian instrument.
